Well, we’re back with another edition of Bathroom Reviews of the wonderful County of Blount. This week we are making our way 13 miles north of our last stop on highway 75 to the great crossroads of Snead Alabama. What seems to be a simple small town is actually a very busy intersection for big trucks, and with big trucks come big bellies that get filled and need emptying.

Well, here we are, we’ve made it to the busiest bathroom I’ve been in this week. There was always someone walking through the door. Now my first thought was dang this is pretty nice! As I used the urinal I noticed some yee-yee dirt (dip) on the wall which can kind of get hidden if you’re blind. There was no trash on the floor and everything seemed to have been cleaned, not really well but again, it is a very busy bathroom that happens to be shared with the home of the BigMac, McDonald’s. Looking at the sinks they seemed to be stained a little which happens with a busy sink. The hand dryer seems to be a little awkwardly placed on the wall that looks like it used to be a urinal stall. Overall it was a bathroom I’d use if I gotta go and I’m a guy that goes regular. It was stocked and there were no awkward walls to hurdle or things to work around to use this bathroom a little more attention to detail on the cleaning part and I believe you’ll have second best in SNEAD.

Walking into this store it smelled clean. Finding the bathroom here is easy, there is a huge sign right in front of your face so you can’t miss it. As I opened the bathroom door, I was greeted by a pleasant citrusy aroma. I turned and saw mats on the floor in front of the urinal and toilet. This Chevron has gone the extra mile and put in urinal deodorizer screens. This small touch makes a big difference in the overall bathroom experience, making you feel right at home during your visit. As for supplies, it was well stocked. Overall this is a surprisingly nice bathroom for a gas station, it was clean and had enough supplies. This is an exceptional place to use the bathroom or, if you are me, it makes a great place to type an article. One thing I would have loved to see is paper towels. While it may seem like a personal preference, hand dryers blow bacteria and 💩 particles all over your clean hands. This bathroom is great and I will definitely stop here more often now. This is the nicest bathroom in the area.

My initial thought as I opened the door was wow! This was a trashy bathroom. Upon further examination, the stall actually had a small trash can (not something you typically see in a men’s restroom) that seemed like it had probably been overflowing for a few days and was clearly not on the to-do list. Looking around, I saw what may have been a syringe cap and a Walmart gift card lying on the ground. Jack’s may want to consider taking that gift card and purchasing some cleaning supplies with it. Now that we are past the trashiness, at least they were well stocked in the toilet paper department and nothing was in weird places. The walls of the stall had what appeared to be a confetti-like substance which was probably shredded toilet paper. This bathroom definitely needs some deep cleaning! If they can get on top of that this would be an enjoyable toilet time. Due to the lack of cleanliness, Jack’s is coming in solidly at last place for the snead area.
