Blount County native and UA Law alumnus B. Jimmy Carter King, Class of 2006, is offering a unique paid internship for the first 3L student at UA Law who can secure a hard copy recommendation letter with a wet ink signature from Othni Latham. This opportunity isn’t just about legal work; it’s about shaping the future of both state and federal legislation.

The selected intern will have the chance to write briefs for a civil case poised to make THC legal for most U.S. citizens. This is a rare opportunity to work on a case with the potential to affect legislation at both the state and federal levels, shaping public policy across the country.

But there’s more to this internship than legal work. The intern will also learn about two other critical topics: Jesus and farming. It’s a comprehensive experience that aims to provide both professional and personal growth.

To apply, once you have the required recommendation letter in hand, send an email to bjimmycarterking@gmail.com Don’t miss out on this chance to make a significant impact while advancing your legal career.
