Tuesday night storms increased in strength into Wednesday morning and hit some areas of the county hard. Multiple roads are closed around the county. Locust fork seems to have taken a big hit with large trees falling over roadways and some small structures being destroyed. There is one report of a tree falling on a vehicle in Locust Fork.
All Blount County schools will operate on a 2-hour delay Wednesday.
